Join the American Constitution Society (ACS) Minneapolis-St. Paul Lawyer Chapter, MNAPABA, and other co-sponsoring organizations to welcome Justice Anne McKeig of the Minnesota Supreme Court. Justice McKeig will share her experiences navigating the legal profession as a Native American and the importance of people of color engaging in the profession. She will discuss her life's work to improve the lives of Native American children, her efforts to bridge the gap between state and tribal courts/nations, and her personal experience as an example of why representative mentoring structures are imperative for women of color within the legal community.
