The Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association (MNAPABA) appreciates your friendship and membership to our organization. We will be celebrating the past year and starting the new Board year at our Gala on Tuesday, September 5, 2024 at the University of Minnesota McNamara Alumni Center. 

The past year has seen many of us return to in-person gatherings with family, friends, and colleagues. We have adapted to flexible work schedules and hybrid meetings, and the “new normal” has fundamentally changed the ways in which we connect and grow relationships with each other.

Over the last year, MNAPABA has focused on programming to allow people to connect more meaningfully. That included CLEs and panels that guided members in their respective career paths, a winter retreat away from the city, brunches and lunches to connect with old and new friends, and celebrations of our members’ accomplishments. We look forward to sharing an evening of celebration and connection with our community of members, supporters, and friends that helped us all grow as individuals and an organization.

The theme of this year’s MNAPABA Gala is “Leadership, Law, Legacy.” Our keynote speaker is Don Liu, the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal and Compliance Officer for Target, and fellow MNAPABA member. Mr. Liu will share his insights on this year's theme, and we look forward to celebrating his immeasurable impact and legacy on the legal community in the Twin Cities and nationally.
