Christopher Jison

President


Chris is a Legal EEO Consultant with Wells Fargo and represents the bank in state and federal discrimination and wage and hour charges. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a minor in economics. He earned his law degree from the University of St. Thomas where he was also involved with MNAPABA throughout all three years of law school. Prior to law school, Chris was a compliance analyst with expertise in TSA air freight compliance, cargo security best practices, and interstate trucking compliance.

Nicole Dailo
President-Elect


Nicole is Corporate Counsel at Life Time, where she advises business leaders and human resources partners on labor and employment issues. Nicole previously worked as an employment associate at Nilan Johnson Lewis and as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Julia W. Brand in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. In the Twin Cities legal community, Nicole has served as a pro bono asylum attorney with the Advocates for Human Rights and a mentor for the University of St. Thomas School of Law Mentor Externship Program. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2011 and earned her J.D. from the USC Gould School of Law in 2014.

Mayura Noordyke
Immediate Past Presdent

Mayura is an intellectual property attorney and serves as Trademark Counsel, Global IP at Medtronic.  Mayura provides counsel to the company on all issues related to trademark and copyright law. Mayura was previously in private practice, focusing on trademark clearance, investigation, prosecution, licensing, branding, social media, cybersquatting, internet domain name disputes, copyright matters, and advertising and promotions. Outside of work, Mayura enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, dogs, and baby. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2015.

Grace Kim
Treasurer


Grace is a patent attorney at Fish & Richardson. Grace graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Prior to law, Grace was a research & development engineering manager with Boston Scientific.

Karl Johnson

Secretary


Karl Johnson is an attorney with Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. Karl has represented debtors and secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy cases under chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13. He has also represented trustees in bankruptcy cases under chapters 7 and 13.

His clients include individuals, small and large businesses, and institutional creditors. Karl also has experience drafting loan documents, litigating creditor-debtor and inter-creditor disputes, debt collection, and defending FDCPA actions.

Stephanie Chen

VP of Communications


Stephanie is an associate attorney at Robins Kaplan LLP, where she practices in business, health care, and antitrust litigation. She also maintains an active pro bono practice representing entrepreneurs, artists, and youths in foster care. Stephanie graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California and earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served as co-President of the school’s Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. 


Victoria Dutcher

VP of Membership


Victoria Dutcher is Investment Counsel at Securian Asset Management, where she provides legal advice and counsel on commercial mortgage loans and loan servicing. Previously, Victoria was a real estate and land use attorney at Larkin Hoffman Daly & Lindgren. Victoria graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and magna cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Victoria served as an AmeriCorps member with a Twin Cities based nonprofit organization. She also lived and taught in Gwangju, South Korea and Chiang Mai, Thailand for two years.  

Jacqueline Congello
VP of Outreach


Jacq is the Director of Boards and Commissions for Governor Tim Walz and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan, where she works with the Legal and Appointments team on the numerous State boards and commissions appointments. She graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law with her J.D. and LL.M. in Organizational Ethics and Compliance. Prior to law school, Jacq earned her Bachelor’s degree from Luther College.

Yida (Oliver) Li

VP of Programming


Oliver is an associate attorney at Hamre, Schumann, Mueller & Larson, P.C., where he practices general intellectual property law. Particularly, his practice focuses in handling patent applications across multiple jurisdictions. Prior to law school, he was an engineer in the medical device field. Oliver graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Minnesota and a J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
