Join Minnesota Women Lawyers and the Minnesota American Indian Bar Association for an important conversation about the U.S. Congress's recently enacted Savanna's Act. Savanna's Act is a law requiring the U.S. Department of Justice to review, revise, and develop law enforcement and justice protocols to address missing or murdered Native Americans.

Panelists Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, Rep. Jamie Becker-Finn, and Professor Sarah Deer will discuss the provisions of Savanna's Act, its intended impacts, and how our communities can address this important justice issue. The panel will be moderated by Arielle Wagner, President of the Minnesota American Indian Bar Association and attorney at Lockridge Grindal Nauen.
