The Network of Politicized Adoptees (NPA) is offering a class for transracial adoptees, titled "Histories and Cultures of Transnational Adoption in the U.S." This online course is for adult adoptees who identify as people of color and/or Indigenous to give opportunities for adoptees to explore their history and culture together through film, selected texts, and group discussion. The course critically examines transnational adoption, the experience of transnational/transracial adoptees in the U.S. over the past 60+ years, and the cultural and social production of adoptee identity.
