How do solo and small firm practitioners successfully get work from larger institutional client companies and keep the business flowing to them? The legal marketplace has been disrupted as companies that once hired only the biggest and most expensive firms are now frequently turning to smaller firms for both quality and value. This experienced panel will share insights based on time spent as in-house and outside counsel about effective marketing strategies, the qualities and factors that matter aside from price, and how to get retained and stay competitive, and more.
Moderator: Judy M. Lam, Litigation Partner, Kumagai Law Group, a small minority owned firm. After years of practice in larger firms, Judy is seeing great opportunity for small firms to capture work from institutional clients.
