Immigration Law Educational Resources

NAPABA has provided translations of concise immigration-related educational materials. Produced by the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), these materials provide background on:

  • Rights that persons have in the event that law enforcement (including immigration enforcement) comes to one's home
  • Screening and detention of Lawful Permanent Residents at a port of entry, such as an airport
  • Important reminders during travel

The resources are available at the following link: Immigration Law Educational Resources

We hope that MNAPABA members share these resources with their community members and the public at large. At a time of heightened enforcement, it is paramount that individuals can learn about their rights in the language that they feel most comfortable. NAPABA is currently working on additional translations of these documents, and MNAPABA will pass these along as they become available.

These materials are provided for educational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice.
